An elder in the church of Pentecost has condemned what he says is the over concentration of Christians on witches and wizards.
According to elder Kwesi Adu, Christians must recognize the existence of witches and evil spells, but should not worry about evil spells or curses being cast upon us.
In his view, the existence of witches and wizards is a blessing in disguise for Christians to strengthen their faith in God.
Elder Adu who worships with the Jaupong District of the Church of Pentecost in the Volta region maintained that, God is omnipotent and could totally destroy the devil with one word, but he allows Satan to torment and tempt us to see if we truly love Him.
He urges Christians to rely on Jesus Christ the savior and stop praying against the devil because it is God who created the destroyer to destroy
Elder Nkansah added that “as Christians, we have to do all we can in the power of the Holy Spirit to make sure the enemy of our souls does not gain any ground”.
