However, as the court proceedings raged on for year, the footballer was busy building a new family with his fiancee, Ruweida Yakubu. The two currently have two children, but it looks like a third child may be on the way. Speaking with Nana Aba Anamoah on the Accra-based GHOne TV, Odartey Lamptey revealed that his current fiancee, Ruweida is pregnant with his third baby.
He also spoke on how his relationship with Gloria Lamptey started, saying that his former wife was the one who "proposed" to him. The footballer however, declined the request which prompted an aggravated Gloria to request for a divorce and extravagant alimony. Acting upon the advice of his friend, Odartey requested a DNA test on his three children with Gloria. The DNA test proved that the children were not his and he proceeded with the divorce.
