Nana Ama Konadu succeeds the Asantehemaa Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II, who died on November 14, 2016.
She was buried on January 19, 2017 after a one-week funeral and burial rites.
The Manhyia palace on Monday observed the 80 days of the death of the thirteenth queen-mother.
