Abraham Amaliba |
Abraham Amaliba, a lawyer and die-hard National Democratic Congress (NDC) member, has vowed to do everything possible to ensure that Nana Akufo-Addo does not succeed as president.
Amaliba told Accra-based Neat FM he expects Ghanaians to boot out Akufo-Addo by the next election.
He said his decision to get Akufo-Addo out was informed by what he called Martin Amidu's sabotage of the NDC in favour of the current president and the New Patriotic Party.
He was reacting to reports that Amidu had withdrawn a suit at the Supreme Court, which had sought to orally examine Alfred Agebsi Woyome over his GHc51 million debt to Ghana.
Amaliba said Amidu had no intention of retrieving the GHC 51million paid to Woyome, but was interested in seeing former President John Mahama lose the 2016 election.
"As I am speaking to you now, I want President Nana Addo out. So anything I can do legitimately to achieve that, I will do that just as Martin Amidu did to President Mahama,” he said.
