The constituency chairman for the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) in Tarkwa of the Western Region, Robert Gorkeh Ackah has defected to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Briefing journalists, he explained that he cannot continue to lead the PPP party in the constituency because it lacks structures.
He added that the party lacks followers and that he is fed up doing all the dirty works without support from constituency executives.
”I cannot be in a party which is not serious to win elections in Ghana “, Robert Ackah lamented.
Mr Ackah who is a member of the PPP’s communications team said he has ceased to defend the party and that he will only speak for the party in power.
