Nana ‘under pressure’ to Make Kennedy Agyepong Central Regional Minister

Some traditional authorities in parts of the Central Region are piling up pressure on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to make Assin Central Constituency lawmaker, Kennedy Agyepong the next regional minister.
The President is set to announce ministers for the 10 administrative regions in the country on January 20, 2017 at the flagstaff house.
But it appears the chiefs are already lobbying for the NPP firebrand who has consistently stated that he is not interested in any portfolio in the new government despite being a known bankroller of the New Patriotic Party.
Led by Tufuhene of Effutu Akwa Traditional Area in Assin Fosu, Nana Kankam Akomaning,  on Accra-based  Onua FM, the group has hinted it  will officially visit the president and put forward their request.
He outlined his capabilities indicating that when made a minister, he will develop the area as yearned for by them since he hails from there.
