Five, out of six men have been arrested by security officials at the Datus Complex Polling Station in the Tema Central Constituency of the Greater Accra Region.
The arrest followed an attempt by the young men to abscond with ballot boxes at the polling station in the full glare of voters, security personnel and EC officials.
Reports say the six men were said to have stormed the polling center but were arrested by security officers on duty. They have been sent to the Community 8 Police Station.
One however managed to escape, and police have mounted an intensive search for him
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up at the polling center and voting has resumed after a temporal halt.
