Dec polls: NPP calls on Mahama to concede defeat


The Campaign Manager of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Peter Mac Manu has called on the President John Dramani Mahama to concede defeat.
According to him, the pink sheets in their possession indicate that their candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has won the December 7 polls.
Addressing a press conference in Accra, Mr Manu explained that Nana Addo is leading by 694, 724.43.381 votes in their parallel collation whilst President Mahama has 676, 998.54.91 votes. 
Earlier, the campaign team of President Mahama in a press statement calmed their supporters saying the President was ‘in a comfortable lead’.
The team further advised their supporters to ignore media tabulations going in favour of Nana Addo.
