A National Democratic Congress (NDC) advert targeting Nana Akufo-Addo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, has gone viral on social media.
The ad shows Nana Akufo-Addo and his running mate, Mahamamudu Bawumia, piping some of their campaign messages through a lie detector machine.
The machine then determines whether their statements are true or false and then hands out slaps for false claims.
When Akufo-Adddo said, for instance, that the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) had collapsed, the machine ruled it to be a lie and handed him a slap.
Bawumia also got a slap when he said the Volta Region electoral register was bloated.
