Two out of the six ballot boxes that got missing while being transported to some constituencies in the Western region have been found.
The boxes were reportedly found by a hairdresser at Apowa in the Ahanta West Constituency of the Western Region.
According to Ultimate News’ Western regional correspondent Emmanuel Ohene Gyan the boxes were found on a stretch of road not too far from the EC’s regional office, where they got missing.
The boxes were 44 in all, which were being transported to the respective constituencies in the Western region but fell of the bucket of the track while being wheeled to the area.
The EC has confirmed the discovery of the boxes and the Police have begun investigations into it.
