The Deputy Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Assin North district of the Central region, Ms. Joyce Amankwaa, has appealed to the spouses of police officers to contribute in helping the country have a smooth elections on December 7.
The wives are advised to do their best at home in ensuring that their husbands are in the best frame of mind even as they prepare to police the elections .
Ms. Amankwaa urged the wives not to create any unhealthy situations at home for their husband which could cause them to lose concentration at the various polling stations so as to forstall any eventuality with the ultimate potential of marring the beauty of the election.
Addressing a gathering of police wives at Assin Fosu , Ms. Amankwaa urged the wives to give their husbands good sex as sex is therapeutic not only in dealing with stress but also in putting the officers in good spirit to respond to duties during the election .
She added that unnecessary rancour should also be avoided around this time so that the police officers can offer optimum service to the nation in ensuring an incident free elections come December 7.
