Nana Addo is expected to visit about ten constituencies in the region, including Manhyia North, Bosome-Freho, Adansi-Asokwa, and New Edubiase among others.
According to Ashanti Regional Secretary, Samuel Pyne the region is ready to receive the flagbearer of the party adding, all necessary security arrangements have been put in place ahead of his visit.
Nana will also visit some constituencies whose candidates have filed as independent candidates. At least three independent candidates who defected from the NPP are seeking to battle it out with party-sponsored contestants.
The affected constituencies are Adansi Asokwa, Atwima Kwanwoma, and Nsuta-Kwamang-Beposo.
This will be the second time this year the NPP flag-bearer is touching base with party supporters and other voters in the NPP stronghold to drum home his message of hope and change.
