SHOCKING: CONSTITUENCY OFFICE OF THE NPP AT KUKUOM HAS BEEN DAMAGED BY MACHOMEN













The constituency office of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Kukuom in the Asunafo South of the Brong Ahafo has been reportedly ransacked by machomen.

According to Adom News' Koofori Bossu Denkye, the incident begun when members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) accused the NPP of busing foreigners to transfer their vote to the polling in the ongoing voter transfer exercise by the Electoral Commission (EC) ahead of the December 7 general elections.

The items destroyed in the office include computers, television, officer tables and chairs and files with databases of party members.
The incident occurred Wednesday after three former constituency executives were assaulted at a polling station in Kukuom while monitoring the ongoing voter transfer exercise.

Driver of the Parliamentary candidate for Asunafo south, George Boakye sustained head injuries during the scuffle.

The driver, Louis Busia was rushed to the Goaso Hospital for medical assistance.


Other former constituency officers including the former chairman, Mr. Osei Bonsu were subjected to severe beatings.

An NPP member in the constituency, Jephthah  Apaw in an interview on Adom News said the lodge a complaint at the police station and have been given medical form for treatment.

He warned of reprisal attacks if the police fail to bring the culprits to book
