Asiedu Nketia |
Chief scribe of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, is daring the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to lay claim to its manifesto if it believes its [NPP] ideas have been stolen.
“How can we steal something that has not been made public? They claimed they did not want to launch their manifesto first because they feared we will still their ideas but we went ahead to launch ours and now they are saying we stole their ideas.
It clearly means that when you give them power, they will allow the presidential seat to be stolen”, he said.
Mr. Asiedu Nketia challenged the NPP to prove the NDC manifesto is theirs or forever remain mute over the matter since they are already sour losers.
He disclosed that the party will give copies of the manifesto to various media house and its leadership will avail itself to explain issues that may appear unclear to journalists and the electorate.
Controversy over ideas in the Manifestos of the country’s two largest political parties-the NPP and NDC in the last couple of weeks have been raging on with leaders of the two rival parties trading blames over claims and counter claims of who has stolen what.
