"We are battle ready even if the election is held in November of December. NDC NDC is NOV/DEC champions” he opined.

Asideu Nketia popularly known as General Mosquito is currently introducing the party’s parliamentary candidates for the party in all the 10 regions.

The candidates due to time wave their white handkerchiefs to signify victory ahead of the crucial elections.

He also introduced the NDC’s national campaign team to be inaugurated by President John Mahama.

The NDC scribe said they cannot be falsed to launch their campaign and manifesto together since its been the party's tradition to launch it seperately.

General Mosquito added that, they are not worried if any group will copy their manifesto becuase they will launch it two weeks after the campaign launch.

Former President Jerry Rawlings is warning the NDC not to underestimate the opposition NPP.

He said the only way the NDC can be able to beat them is to stick to their core principles of probity, accountability and social justice.


"NPP cannot be under estimated. The nature of who they are and where they are coming from will keep them where they are"

Lets have a clean, clear and stable election.

He urged the party to go through the campaign without any provocation. He said he will reserve what he has to say until afte the elections.

A disabed from Ellembele called Mr. Otu said he was able to get a tricycle through Masloc and have now stopped begging inthe streets.

He urged his fellow disabled men and women to support President Mahama to have their lives transformed.

Central Regional Minister, Kweku Ricketts Hagan unofficially welcoming the President and his wife, Lordina Mahama and all the NDC faithfuls to the region.

"This Cape Coast staduim we are stadning in and other projects are all because of President Mahama' he stated.

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hanna Tetteh says government through infrastructure development has created a lot of jobs nationwide.

However, she noted that, its completion is not guaranteed should the opposition NPP win the December 7elections.

Therefore, Hanna Tetteh charged NDC members to work hard to ensure their legacy is protected and President Mahama is retained in power.

This is according to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Director of Elections, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

Addressing party faithful at the Central regional capital, Cape Coast, he indicated that, the NDC under the leadership of President Mahama has worked assiduously and will win majority votes even in the strongholds of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

"We won eight regions but this time will win more votes in the stronghold of the NPP because President Mahama has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he deserves a second term" he stressed.

But touting the President’s achievements, Mr Ofosu Ampofo said the government listened to the cry of the people and delivered the goods to them.

In his view, the future of Ghana is guaranteed under the leadership of a unifier like President Mahama thus Ghanaians don’t have any excuse retaining him in power.

Also, the Local Government and Rural Development Minister says President John Mahama deserves a second term because he has delivered on all front of the Ghanaian economy.

Collins Dauda says when Ghanaians take a cursory look at the water situation which "used to grind the nation"; the Mahama government has addressed the issue.



“When you go to Kpong in Tema, President Mahama has put in place equipment that is pumping 40 million gallons of water a day [uncharacteristic] of in the history of the nation,” he told teeming supporters of the NDC at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium during the party’s National Campaign Launch Sunday.

Acute water shortage across the country is not a new development considering the way water is managed in the country.

This year alone, several areas namely, Nswama, HO, Kyebi, Kadeji, Nkaseimu, and Mampong have all suffered severe acute water shortage.

Collins Dauda believes “had it not been for President Mahama” the water situation would be worsening daily.
