The wife of the Police Lance Corporal in Tema who shot three persons and later committed suicide, Rafa Iddrisu has claimed her late husband threatened to kill her and commit suicide.
Rafa Iddrissu, 29, told Adom News' Bella Gidiglo Ave that, her late husband on several occasions subjected her to severe beatings and death threats anytime there was a misunderstanding between them.
Late Lance Corporal Winfred Dodzi Amuzu, 32, of the Tema Rapid Deployment Force (RDF) Unit shot himself, his two children and his mother-in-law dead in Tema Monday evening.
The news shook the entire Tema Township.
Rafa Iddrisu added that she lived in fear when they were together until she reported the case to DOVVSU.
Though medical reports have not confirmed whether Amuzu suffered psychological problems, his wife believes his actions may have been influenced by friends who always blamed her for his predicament.
Meanwhile, the Tema Police command is still investigating the issue.
