According to her, though she has been condemned by the public regarding comments she made in support of President John Dramani Mahama and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), she will vote based on the developments she has so far witnessed under the NDC government.
Mzbel last week said when you compare Mahama’s reign to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) eight years, it upstages the latter, and that means the NDC absolutely deserve another term.
Her comments were received with insults especially on her social media pages.
But the singer in an interview on Accra based Neat FM said, it is a shame to see people insult, ridicule and attack her personality just because she was bold enough to voice out her political opinion and endorse President Mahama.
The musician who is well-known for her very provocative style of dressing and sexual innuendos in her music accused her critics of pretending to be patriotic.
“I will vote based on development I have so far seen and I am sure I will vote for the NDC to continue the massive developments” she stated.
