BET has made a quick turn to make changes in the BEST AFRICAN ACT category after announcing the nominations Friday morning. According to the organisers of the awards, Mzvee’s name was mistakenly entered in the said category and wishes to apologise to her, fans and general public for such technical error. “We don’t know what happened. Her name was among a tall list but couldn’t make it to the shortlist. We deeply apologise to all who are affected by this” – BET corespondent told the media. “It’s Shatta Wale whose name was supposed to be entered. In the tall list, MzVee’s name was under Shatta Wale so she was mistakenly picked instead of Shatta Wale.” – she added.
