The 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged eligible Ghanaians to come out in their numbers and participate in the upcoming limited voters registration exercise.
The Limited Voters Registration exercise which has been scheduled to start from Thursday, April 28 and end on Sunday, May 8, will afford Ghanaians who attain 18 years to exercise their franchise during the 2016 elections and beyond.
Nana Akufo-Addo has on his official twitter account, asked NPP supporters to "Please spread the word about the registration exercise and register."
President John Dramani Mahama, recently during his 'Accounting to the people tour' in the Eastern region appealed to chiefs and traditional leaders to help publicize the upcoming limited voter registration exercise.
The president added that the move will ensure that young people have a stake in the future of this country.
