Jamie Vardy Charged With Improper Conduct After West Ham Red Card
Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been charged with improper conduct by the FA for his actions following his sending off against West Ham on Sunday. The Foxes have also been charged with failing to control their players after the Hammers were awarded a late penalty.

The charge could have massive ramifications for the title race, with Vardy already set to miss the weekend's game against Swansea with a one-match ban for his sending off. An additional ban for the improper conduct charge would likely see him miss the trip to Old Trafford in a fortnight's time.

An FA statement read: "Leicester City's Jamie Vardy has been charged with improper conduct for his behaviour following his second-half dismissal against West Ham United on Sunday 17 April 2016. Leicester have also been charged for failing to control their players following the awarding of an 83rd-minute penalty to West Ham.
"Both the player and the club have until 6pm on Thursday 21 April 2016 to reply to their charge."

Dermot Gallagher spoke to Sky Sports News HQ after the match to discuss whether Vardy was likely to face further action for his furious reaction to being sent from the field, saying: "It depends on what Jamie has said to the referee and if it was offensive, insulting or abusive. As such, he could be facing down the barrel of a further charge.

"It happened quickly and he was angry, but we don't know what was said. Only Jon Moss knows that, and that's what will follow through. Is it offensive? Is it insulting? Is it abusive? It all hinges on that."
