BAAH ACHEAMFOUR WAS DISCREDITING THE PARTY -N HOST





Some six 'macho men' suspected to be members of opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), yesterday afternoon reportedly broke into the studios of Kumasi based Fox FM, attacking a youth activist of the NPP, Baah Acheamfour, and some staff of the radio station.

Confirming the news, the host of the late afternoon political show, 'Eboboba' on FOX FM, Kwaku Kyere Nkansah, said the men who arrived on motorbikes, forced the doors of the studio open during a live discussion and beat-up Baah Acheamfour.

According to him, Mr. had then made some allegations against another member of the NPP, Kwesi Kyei, who later stormed the studio to make some clarifications.

The host of the programme, Kwaku Kyere in an interview with Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio said he asked Baah Acheamfour whether his comments was meant to work against the interest of the party and in the course of explaining himself, he further commented on Nana Addo's campaign and the recent donate for change launched by the NPP, which he Mr. Acheamfour had discredited due to what he claimed was corruption in the party following the failure of the party in dealing with the recent findings of alleged misappropriation of some executives.

The host noted that, he was alerted by his producer to call the police on the show because he saw the 'macho men' approaching the studios however, the 'thugs' broke into the studios and attacked me, my producer and Baah Acheamfour.

They escaped before the police arrived, he added.
