Anas debunks media rumours of accusing. Chief justice, Georgina wood of making a mistake.

His lawyer also condemns the incident and refers to it as unfortunate

Lawyer for investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Kissi Adjabeng, has denied media reports that his client is accusing Chief Justice Georgina Wood for allegedly erring in a letter to the judges accused of taking bribes.
Explaining the sad incident, lawyer Adjabeng questioned why the media wants to twist the contents of their petition. Explaining the contents of the statement, Kissi Adjabeng, told Starr News that the petition he presented on behalf of his client was that the petition was printed on the letterhead and watermark of Tiger Eye PI. He added that the petitioner, which is his client identified himself as Anas Aremeyaw Anas in his capacity as a citizen of Ghana and by profession a lawyer and an investigative journalist.

The petition arises as a result of multiple suits filed by three of the judges to invalidate the petition for their removal on the basis that the petitioner’s company Tiger Eye PI does not exist, a story that many media houses have reported negatively that Anas has blamed the CJ for the development because she did not use the name of the petitioner, but rather his company in writing to the implicated judges.

Kissi Adjabeng, told Starr News that their statement to the court has been misinterpreted. He added that a copy of the petition has been added to the petitioner’s statement of claim. Lawyer Adjabeng further describe dthe media rumours as unfortunate.

Anas and his Tigereye PI team captured 34 judges on video allegedly taking bribes to compromise cases before them. He then petitioned the President to impeach them.

Twenty lower court judges and some High Court judges have since been removed from office following the exposé. The matter is still ongoing as other accused judges are in court to clear themselves of any wrongdoing.
