Ex-convict Murdered Six(6)





A mad believed to be an ex-convict by name Kwasi Ganu has yesterday evening around 8:30 pm butchered six(6) people which one is at a crucial state at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital Assin Fosu. The five(5) are confirmed death including his mother, father, younger sister and a cousin and a son of their landlady by name Kofi Tandoh a coordinator for NPP at Assin Akrofrom in the Assin South District in the Central Region.

Kwasi Ganu reportedly went to prison for stealing. Upon serving his jail term, Ganu decided not to come home but to live in the bush alone. He is often seen when he needs something. An eye witness yesterday evening said they saw the little girl crying out from the house with blood for help.

The four guys rushed to the house only to see Ganu slaughtering Kofi Tandoh with two machetes. After cutting off the head, he then left. After calling on all the community, they found four others ( father, mother, sister and the cousin) at the backyard of the house. The father was killed in his plastic chair while the mother was killed in the process of feeding her little cousin. The young sister was also killed at the entrance of their little kitchen. Kofi Tandoh the son of the landlady was also helping his daughter doing her home work in their room when Ganu entered and cut the little girl at the back she then run for help while the father struggled with Ganu but couldn't so Ganu caught off his left hand in the process. He then decided to run for help but fell which gave Ganu upper hand over him.

Ganu was captured at a village called Danwomako also in the Assin South by the people upon media alert. He was beaten mercilessly near to death. He is also at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital receiving treatment.
